 The next guys breakfast will be Saturday, March 3rd at the Smitty’s on Victoria Ave East from 8:30-10:30a.m.
This is a great way to invite a friend or two and get them connected. This is also open to the younger guys in the church.

 The next girls night we will be bowling on Wednesday, February 29th at Nortown Bowling Lanes from p.m. We have reserved two lanes. Please let Elizabeth know as soon as possible if you are able to come and if you are brining a guest so that there are enough spots for everyone and we know if we need to book another lane. Please bring $6.00 each to cover the cost of the shoes and lane rentals. We will be bowling from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. If you would like to stay and enjoy a coffee or snack afterwards there are tables available. The younger girls are welcome to come as well. |
 Next Sunday (February 12th) we will be having a lunch following the service and we do hope you can join us. And, of course, this is a great Sunday to invite family and friends who do not know Jesus to join with us. We will be having a great morning and after the kids have eaten they are free to go into the school gym which we have rented just for this special time so the adults can have extra time to eat and have a second cup of coffee and a longer chat with friends and family...Plan to join us. |

 Our Sunday morning teams are looking for men and women - including the teens - to come out and get trained and help lead. These teams include:

- Kitchen prep (preparing food and coffee)
- Greeting at the main doors (handing out bulletins and saying good morning and helping people inside)
- Set up (putting out chairs and tables and unloading the trailer)
- Sound board (helping to switch PowerPoint slides for the projector, recording the sermon and playing videos)
These are all very key ministries within the church that help to create our welcoming environment and allow things to flow more smoothly. These are significant opportunities for you to participate in advancing God’s Kingdom.

 As we are still adjusting to our new location and so we experimented with a new floor arrangement for the "sanctuary". We are now facing the other way and as a result of this and a few other changes the sound is much better and the bottleneck of traffic by the kitchen door during fellowship time has been eliminated. We heard good feedback regarding the changes and will continue to make adjustments to allow everyone who attends a good Sunday morning experience.

 At the leaders meeting this past Monday night we discussed a number of ways to further improve your experience on Sunday mornings as well as ways to grow and opportunities for discipleship. Some of the things discussed were:
- How to further eliminate traffic in and out of the kitchen
- Changes to the morning fellowship time including the kids enjoying their snack in the classrooms
- Improvements to the church website including the new section “Just For Teens”
- The current growth groups success as well as the upcoming growth groups to begin in April
- More ways to let people know who and where we are in our new home
- Possible new locations for our Kidz Klub to meet so that it can continue to expand beyond Darryl and Elizabeth’s front room
- Augusts' fishing trip for the guys and weekend in Fort Qu’Apelle for the gals
- April 8th’s morning service (Easter Sunday) earlier start to accommodate the pancake brunch
- Other ways to celebrate events and milestones in our church families lives
- And much, much more…
Please be in prayer about these opportunities for others to come and belong, learn and be discipled in a community of people who love and support them. As well as wisdom for the leadership team planning these events.

 Here at The Sanctuary we are beginning our GROWTH GROUPS in the new year. These are weekly gatherings of believers coming together to share fellowship and to have a time of focused study on a topic that is important and relevant to life as a disciple of the Lord in today’s world. These groups of 5 to 7 believers will be held for a specific number of weeks (between 5 and 7 weeks in length) and then we take a break ... with three new topics beginning a few weeks after the first set come to end.

Friday, February 24th at 7:30 p.m. at Cloud Rider Designs we will be having our first Apostolic Missions Meeting. If you have not already signed up for this life changing experience please do so today!
Interested in going overseas and becoming involved in an apostolic mission trip in 2012-2013? Ralph will be holding meetings in the early part of 2012 for anyone interested in knowing more about what is involved in being a team member and what team members will be involved in when on site in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

 In January 2012 Ralph will be starting a new training group for future leaders here at The Sanctuary. Involvement will be by invitation only and he will be working with those (18 to 28) who have a call of God on their lives to be leaders in the Church that Jesus is building. This group will meet weekly when Ralph is in the country. |
 Our Sunday morning service begins with coffee and cookies at 9:17 a.m. Worship begins at 9:47 a.m. After a time of worship we enjoy a light snack and more coffee while we share our lives with one another. After the children (aged 18 months - 15 yrs) head out to Sunday School we injoy more worship

Darryl and Elizabeth run a group for ages 10-14 years. Kidz Klub will be meeting on Monday nights from 6:30-8:00 p.m. We play games, discuss life issues, share snacks, buil relationships and learn how to have a relationship with and to serve God in our own way. We do a lot of outdoor activities so please dress for the weather. Kids are encouraged to bring a friend!
8 and 9 year olds are invited to the specail events. We also have a movie night once a month. For a full schedual please click here. |
Saturday, February 18th we will be watching A walk to Remember from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
We will plan to have Valentine treats to share to go with the Valentines Day theme.

Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage |
