This week while driving 2 the south end of the city I drove past a sign @ the Regina Inn downtown. On it was the following quote: “A good lawyer knows the law. A great lawyer knows the judge.”

I really liked this quote N began thinking how I could turn that quote into something 2 write about N talk 2 U teens about :)

Here’s 1 thing that I thought of: It is 1 thing 2 know God’s law (the 10 commandments) N another 2 know God. U C just like there is a difference between a great N a good lawyer there is a difference between knowing what God wants us 2 do (head knowledge) N Knowing God (relationship - heart knowledge).

Did U Ever?

In class over the last few weeks we have been talking about worship. How 2 worship God, Y we worship God, How 2 express our gratitude, different ways 2 worship God N how 2 write God a worship song.

We sing 2 God on Sunday mornings @ church. Sometimes we understand what N Y we R singing N sometimes we don't. But hv U ever thought about God singing 2 U?

Zephaniah 3v17 (a book in the old testament of the Bible) says “God sings us a love song, he rejoices over U, He renews us w/His love N celebrates over us w/shouts of joy”

Remember...

While celebrating Remembrance Day U will hear a lot about the fallen soldiers who died so that U could B free @ live in a country with out war N terror. U will observe 3 min of silence 2 show UR gratitude 4 those who died.

While U R taking time 2 remember the soldiers N what they did 4 U, take some time 2 remember what Jesus did 4 U.
He 2 fought a war N died so that U could B free! He died 4 U out of love. U C, 2 him U were worth the pain N suffering he went through. 2 him U R beautiful, wanted N loved. Take some time this week N think about Jesus.

Let’s face it. U’ve probably had a negative interaction w/ some1 who claimed 2 B a Christian or w/ “churchy people”. Maybe it was an awkward moment in church or some1 made U feel like U weren’t good enough 2 do the “Christian thing”, N U’ve decided that if this is what Christians R like U don’t want anything 2 do w/ God.

The truth is, religion or church attendance has never gotten anyone into heaven, N “being good” has never made God love someone more. It’s not about religion or what U’ve done in the past. In fact, God loves U regardless of anything U’ve done N wants 2 have a personal relationship w/U.

Have U ever wondered about Heaven N Hell? What is it like? How will we get there? Where will I go? Y R there both? The list of questions about Heaven N Hell is endless. I hope 2 answer most of UR questions N show U a little 'bout Heaven. I M also excited 2 learn about Heaven with U.
