Worship is a way for us 2 express our love 2wards God.

This morning try 2 focus on God and express URself in UR own way. Don’t worry about what other people think. Maybe it will catch on w/some of the older people!!

Many of us wear masks to conceal who we really are, things we're struggling with, our fears, dreams, or temptations because we want to fit in. Our society tells us that we need to fit a certain mold - whether it's with physical appearance, education, success in a career, having a family, or whatever. The world's definition of success is much different than what we find in the Bible. But even in our churches and with brothers and sisters in Christ, it's sometimes hard to be real and honest about what's going on in our lives because we're afraid someone will look down on us or judge us.

T.V!! T.V!!

I was reminded today by a friend that the new T.V show season is about 2 start N the networks would B begining 2 play last seasons finales 2 lead into the new season' s shows.

Thinking through this I realized how out of touch I must B without cable. I'm sure that most of U who have been 2 my house B4 have wondered Y I don't have a T.V. LOL well of course I do!

We have a T.V. in fact we have three. But they R not on all of the time. We do not have cable but do watch many movies. We have chosen not 2 have cable because we don't want the T.V. 2 take over our lives.

Leadership

You know the word but does it mean anything 2 U? It takes character N integrity to B a leader. It takes a long time to build up trust. This is something U should B working 2wards.

The Big 10

These R the 10 commandments:

You shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. Radical Faith

Once U R 1 of God’s kids- hv a relationship w/Jesus there R many things U should B doing.

Making Jesus a priority e/day - spend some time 1st thing in the a.m. w/Him, talk 2 Him thru UR day, ask Him what He thinks
Be a role model - remember UR little brothers N sisters (nephew/nieces) look up 2 U. U need to B a pos role model. Everything U do has consequences - good or bad. What R U teaching them?
Check URself - ask URself “How would Jesus feel if He knew I was doing this?”, “Would I let Jesus read this book?”, “Would I want Jesus 2 know I M watching this?”, “How would Jesus feel if He knew I was kissing this guy?”
