Max and Ruby

Max and Ruby was on this week. They were @ a Bunny Scout sleepover N max tagged along. They were telling scary stories at campfire and enjoying smores while max "slept". During Ruby's story she said 'Ghost bunny is soo big he can b in 2 places @ once'. This gave Max an idea and he stuffed his sleeping bag 2 make it look like he was in it N snuck off to scare the Bunny Scouts.

This got me thinking, if "Ghost bunny" is big enuf 2 B in 2 places @ once How big is God? God must B HUGE 2B everywhere @ the same time!

Trust

"What Happened?!" "Well it's a long story boss..." "Then tell it quick cause I've got a short temper!"

This was a conversation I overheard this week while working. This one happened 2 B from the cartoon 'The Racoons'.

Have U ever felt that way? Felt so angry that it didn't really matter what was said U were just gonna B mad. How about the opposite - have UR parents ever been upset @ U N left U feeling like no matter what U said they would B angry? Like it just didn't matter.

Harry Potter

What U watch can change U N how U feel. Scary movies can give U nightmares or make U feel like someone is following U. It is important that we R careful. Beastly

‘Beastly’ recently came out. It is a remake of the age old fairy tale, ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

In the movie someone who thought they were beautiful turned out 2 B the most ugly of all because of what was on the inside. Although we R not going 2 B put under a spell, there is a very important lesson we can learn from this movie. Taking time to look @ who U R N who U R becoming is important. Just like Kyle, we have to learn that it is what’s on the inside that counts - character, integrity, honesty and selflessness.

2 Broke Girls

2 Broke Girls, as the title suggests, the sitcom is about two broke girls: Max (Kat Dennings), a smart-mouthed Brooklyn waitress who also works as a nanny, N her new coworker Caroline (Beth Behrs), an heiress who must now make her own living after her Bernie Madoff-like pops is locked up in jail. They don't get off on the best foot, but they end up moving in together N plan 2 start their own business (Max makes some killer cupcakes). It's like a modern-day Laverne & Shirley!

O Toodles!!

I was watching Mickey Mouse Club House last night with the kids. Obviously this show is a little young 4 U as teens but U may have seen it if U have brothers and sisters. In the show Mickey has a 'Mouse-k-tool' helper named 'Toodles' (simular 2 Dora's "backpack").

Every time Mickey N his friends get into a pickle they call on Toodles N he give them the opions of different tools they will need 2 get the job done.

True blood

True blood is rated the #1 T.V. show on most websites.

True Blood is an American television series created N produced by Alan Ball. It is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries series of novels by Charlaine Harris, detailing the co-existence of vampires N humans in Bon Temps, a fictional, small town in the state of Louisiana. The series centers on Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress at Merlotte's Bar, who falls in love with vampire Bill Compton.

These kinds of shows (vampire romances) have become really popular. But what we watch impacts who we become N how we feel whether we know it or not. Ever feel creeped out in a basement? Scared walking outside alone in the dark? Lye awake @ night scared 4 no reason? Sometimes this can B because of what U R watching.

The Hit T.V. show Glee has millions of people who watch it and follow the characters 'religiously'. This show is loved b/c it makes every type of person cool. From the disabled 2 the homosexual, the teen moms 2 the 'fat' kid. No matter who U R, what U look like, UR sexual preference, ethnic background or UR family situation each kid is accepted, celebrated N loved b/c of their talent N love 4 music.

U don't have 2 watch a show 2 fit in tho! There is a place 4 U no matter where you are coming from in God's Kingdom. God loves each 1 of us 4 who we R N welcomes us w/ wide open arms. Church N Kidz Klub is a place where U should feel God's love N welcomed N accepted 4 who U R. It is a place where U should feel comfortable 2 bring UR BFF's N B URself!

Paranormal Activity

"Paranormal Activity" 3 is a 2011 American supernatural horror film. It is the third film of the Paranormal Activity series and serves as a prequel, set 18 years prior to the events of the first two films. It was released in theaters on October 21, 2011. The film broke financial records upon release, setting a new record for a midnight opening for a horror film ($8 million), the best opening day for a horror film in the United States ($26.2 million), the highest opening for any film in October, highest opening for a film in the fall (September-October), and setting a record opening for the franchise ($52.6 million)."

After reading that write-up U should wonder. U should wonder so many things but here R just a few:

1. Y does someone watch a movie that has the words, "What Happens When You Sleep?" N "Don't See It Alone" in the title.

Breaking Dawn

Breaking Dawn is the 4th N final novel in the The Twilight Saga by American author Stephenie Meyer. The novel directly follows the events of the previous novel, Eclipse, as Bella and Edward Cullen get married, leaving behind a heartbroken Jacob. When Bella faces an unexpected situation, she does what it takes to undergo the ultimate transformation and fight the final battle to save her love.

Now we all know that vampires R all the rage but what does this magic, sorcery, witch craft, vampires N warewolves end up doing 2 us?

What?! How can a fictitious character do something 2 me? Well, it changes UR perspective of right N wrong. It distorts UR idea of reality. 4 some it litterally kills. Some people get in so deep w/these mythical creatures that they lose their sense of reality N ultimately lose their lives. No, that doesn't happen 2 everyone.

Footloose

Footloose has recently been redone. The movie is about a small town that suffered the loss of a group of teens 1 night. The town goes overboard in trying 2 protect their children N ban dancing, music, staying out past dark etc. An outsider come 2 the town 2 stay w/his uncle N begins 2 open the hearts of the townsfolk so they can heal N move on.

Sometimes life is difficult. Bad stuff happens. There is no way 2 prevent it N it is often 2 painful 2 C a reasoning behind it. It is important in these times - however difficult - 2 keep UR focus on God. He knows all the what, who, why, when, where N how's of life.

Life Unexpected

This week someone told me about a show on Netflicks called "Life Unexpected". It has an actress in it I like (Shiri Appleby) so I checked it out. Life Unexpected is about a family that is not. Yep sounds confusing right? The daughter was given up for adoption but never adopted and bounced around in foster homes. She finds her parents N ends up in joint custody w/2 strangers who hadn't seen e/o in 16 years.

Life is definately unexpected. Things happen - good N bad. We have no control over these things. Recently a girl most of U met died. There was no reason. No 1 knows Y she died. She just died. Thats how life is. things change constantly. Life is NEVER the same day-2-day. UR friends R Rn't, UR family isn't N even U change daily.

Sherlock Holmes

The new Sherlock Holmes movie came 2 the big screen over Christmas. Sherlock is a famous character written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in 1887. He is famous 4 his powers of deduction. He can read people N solve cases in ways no 1 else can. He observes every little detail N puts it together 2 reveal the unknown. Sherlock could be a good role model w/his 'powers of deduction' in the sense that we could use these super slueth skills in our everyday lives. "How?" you ask, well let me give U a few examples.

1. U can observe how UR classmates R really feeling. How is their home life? How r their relationships? etc. Try 2 identify w/them. Every 1 needs a friend. B that friend. Invite them 2 church N/or Kidz Klub so they can belong 2!
