Discipleship, Discipleship, Discipleship!
Every believer needs to be discipled. Each one of us needs someone to encourage us, teach us, share our life with us, hold us accountable, lead us, and generally help us to grow and mature and become all that God wants us to be and then do all that He wants us to do for Him.

Pictured above is Robert who lives in Nyagan, Siberia. He is one of my disciples as he has a call to be an apostle and is now beginning to explore and grow into that calling. He did what each of us need to do - take the time to find others who can help us to grow. He took time away from work to travel with me for five days and help in any way he could. Then he boldly stepped up and asked me to become involved in his life. His openness and honesty was very refreshing and we are now in touch weekly as he quickly grows and matures in  many different areas of his life and calling (ministry).

Miroslav, pictured to the right, lives in Uzhgorod, Ukraine and  with daily contact by Skype and emails over the last three years - as well as travelling with me everywhere I go in Eastern Europe and Central Asia -  he is now being released into his ministry as an apostle and is ministering in his own nation on a regular basis. He has sacrificed much to walk into God’s plan and purpose for his life.

Yesterday and today I am with one of my mentors - Bill - asking questions, receiving input, listening to advice, and simply sharing life with him. Tomorrow we will join a group of other mature men of God and I will then spend quality time with Gary - another mentor who disciples me.  It costs time and money to be here but it is certainly biblical and worth it.

Who are you being discipled by?
